a team of one
With the exception of the moral suport from my boyfriend and my sister who i force to be a photographer and a model, Draga Nail is a brilliant team of one person, a baddie called Yoana.
How did i even start?
Funny story. Ive been doing my own nails for yeaaaars and after losing my job as a concept artist, a friend of mine said that i should start selling press ons. Didn't give it much thought until one night at 2am after doing my nails for 4 hours i thought 'You know what? Lets do this!'. Thanks, Pauline <3
Why do i do what i do?
Well apart from wanting to make money doing something creative that i enjoy, i also have little wonky sausage fingers. Wait, hold on, stay with me, i have a point. Ive always been unsecure about my fingers and that is okay! I love the hands that help me create all the beautiful things i want, and despite being a little ugly, i still like to decorate them with pretty nails and jewellery. When i wear nails, i dont notice my stubby fingers, i only see the ornate design i spend 2 loving hours creating, and i feel pretty! I hope when people get my nails and they put them on they feel just as good about themselves...even if they have nubs for fingers. :)
the nitty gritty
Running a business is cute, but polluting the earth is not. It is very important to me that the packaging I use is as sustainable as it is aesthetically pleasing. All of my packaging is recyclable and made of paper. The only exception is the packaging for the nail set, as it needs to be extra protected from scratches, however i am working towards a different solution in the future. Draga Nails is always open to suggestion, so if you have any please shoot me a message.
